Replacing La Russa As Cardinal Manager Is An Awesome Task

Last week Tony La Russa decided to retired as Cardinal manager after 16 years. Now the front office is looking for his replacement.
Many names have  come up on John Mozeliak's (Cardinal GM) lists of managerial candidates—Matheny, Sandberg, Francona, and Oquendo  to mention only a few.
What concerns me is that  John Mazeliak will have such a long lists to choose from that the wrong candidate may be selected. I suggest that the GM pick the best 3 from his lists, and go from there in his decision.  Yes, selecting La Russa's replacement is an awesome task. Good luck John Mozeliak. Cardinal fans are behind you in picking the best candidate for the job.
