Yes! Baseball is truly an American sport and loved by people all over the world.
And as we sit back in our easy chair and enjoy a delicious turkey dinner with friends and relatives there is so much to be thankful for as we reflect about this past year.
The St. Louis Cardinals surprised us all becoming the 2011 World Series Champions after a dismal 2011 regular season.
Baseball provides lots of GOODWILL to the different communities throughout the world like David Ortiz helping children in the Dominican Republic.
Then there are the players themselves who with good health and gifted talents entertained us all throughout the year.
And of course the fans. Die hard baseball fans supported their favorite team through thick and thin.
And the lists goes on. The American and National League gave us so much to be thankful for. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Sincerely, Marvin Ferguson, a die hard baseball fan from way back. Yes, we did have electricity and the wheel was already here when I was born.
Special note: "The Unknown Baseball Player" a story about how the average person on the block becomes a Cincinnati Redleg is my favorite story and a Black Friday special all the time in the Kindle Store on Amazon: http://amzn.to/ktuge9
