Remembering Nine-Eleven

Remembrance is a gift. It's the privilege to reflect on things from our past. Things that we enjoyed thinking about. Perhaps an escape from the real world or something not so pleasant. And they say variety is the spice of life.

The good times with family always gives us lots of good things to talk about. A good dinner mixed with lots of chatter, who could forget it? Life is good.

Or an exciting baseball game with spectacular plays. Two teams fighting it out for first place in their division at the end of the regular season. Munching on a hot dog and sipping soda pop, baseball fans sat on the edge of their seats spellbound. With friends nothing could be any better.

Weddings, school graduations, and more, there are so many things to think about. However, some things are not so pleasant. Last Saturday we remembered and honored the three thousand brave men, women, and children who died in a senseless act caused by terrorist.

Nine-eleven will always be remembered as a day when hard working people were cut off and separated from family and friends for no apparent reason. Denied to enjoy life like so many of us.

Revenge is not biblical, but sometimes I wish it were. I hope the perpetrators of this crime receive a just reward for what they have done.

Meanwhile we must move on and learn how to cope. Our prayers go out to the many families whom were affected by this tragedy.
